Description
Directions to Use:
- Preparation:
- Consultation: Perform a thorough consultation to identify target areas and ensure the client is a suitable candidate for treatment.
- Marking the Treatment Area: Use a marker to outline the area to be treated.
- Apply a Gel Pad: Place a protective gel pad on the treatment area to protect the skin from the cold.
- Device Settings:
- Adjust the Cryolipolysis Applicator: Select the appropriate applicator size based on the target area (small for areas like the chin, larger for the abdomen or thighs).
- Temperature Setting: Set the cooling temperature to the appropriate level, typically between -5°C and -10°C, depending on the client’s skin type and fat thickness.
- Application:
- Attach the Applicator: Place the applicator on the treatment area. It uses vacuum suction to pull the fatty tissue into the cooling panels.
- Cooling Process: The area is cooled for 35 to 60 minutes, freezing the fat cells while leaving surrounding tissues unaffected.
- Massage Post-treatment: After the cooling process is complete, the area is massaged to break up the frozen fat cells and enhance the body’s fat elimination process.
- Post-treatment:
- Gradual Fat Reduction: Fat cells will begin to break down over the next few weeks, with full results visible after 2-3 months.
- Multiple Sessions: Depending on the area and the amount of fat, 1-3 sessions may be required, spaced 6-8 weeks apart.
Cautions:
- Avoid Treating Areas with Skin Conditions:
- Do not treat areas with active skin conditions such as eczema, rashes, or wounds.
- Avoid areas with severe varicose veins or open lesions.
- Post-treatment Side Effects:
- Temporary Numbness or Tingling: The treated area may feel numb, tingly, or cold for several days or weeks.
- Redness or Bruising: Some clients may experience redness, swelling, bruising, or slight discomfort in the treatment area for a few days post-treatment.
- Mild Pain or Discomfort: Some clients may feel soreness similar to muscle soreness for a few days.
- Not for Obesity:
- Not a Weight Loss Treatment: Cryolipolysis is designed for body contouring and reducing localized fat, not for treating obesity or major weight loss.
- Medical Contraindications:
- Cold Sensitivity: Avoid treating clients with conditions such as cryoglobulinemia, cold agglutinin disease, or paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria, which make them sensitive to cold.
- Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Cryolipolysis is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
- Medical Devices: Avoid treating areas near implanted medical devices such as pacemakers.
- Post-treatment Care:
- Avoid heavy exercise or strenuous activities for the first 24 hours after treatment.
- Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle: Encourage clients to maintain a healthy diet and exercise routine, as the treatment does not prevent future weight gain in untreated areas.
- Hydration: Clients should drink plenty of water post-treatment to help flush out the dead fat cells.
- Skin Sensitivity:
- Frostbite Risk: Incorrect application or overly aggressive cooling can cause skin damage or frostbite, so ensure proper temperature settings and gel pad usage.
Summary:
The Cryolipolysis Laser Machine is a safe, non-invasive treatment option for fat reduction and body contouring. While it offers permanent fat loss in treated areas, careful attention to contraindications and proper post-care will ensure safe and effective results.
